The Atlas II Active VRS is an ergonomically designed 22” wide luxury-style seat and back cushion. It features a ComfortZone support structure, tiltable and extendable seat cushion, and contoured steel seat and back pan. Quad-chambered air lumbar support further reduces strain on operators of on-highway, construction, and other heavy-duty vehicles, making this product stand out from other Sears Atlas seats.
Like other Sears II seats, this one integrates a suspension system. But the Active VRS suspension is different in that it reduces whole-body vibration via a magnetic field. A position sensor reads movement 750 times per second; the strength of the magnetic field is increased or decreased depending on the feedback. Also, users can adjust firmness to one of three levels. The system includes stabilizer double locking slides with 9” of travel and a molded rubber boot as well.
