Walter Winfield establishes Suburban Auto Seat, a one-man upholstery shop focusing on convertible automobile tops and seat covers.

Robert Winfield becomes president of Suburban Auto Seats

1973

Robert Winfield comes on board as President establishing Suburban Auto Seat as a second generation company. He shifts the company strategy to focus on truck and bus seat re-upholstery within the Northeast.

Suburban Auto Seat is officially incorporated. Jane Winfield joins the company as Vice President.
